Background, Credentials & Qualifications

Katie graduated from California State University San Marcos, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Studies. She continued her post-graduate studies at National University for her Master’s in Primary and Secondary Education. With a lifelong passion for teaching Katie followed her heart and passion in a new exciting direction that led her to a career in real estate in 2019. For the past five years, Katie has been on upwards trajectory of growth and success, as a hard-working member of Swell Property in Encinitas she’s already surpassed 15M in sales. A relocation specialist- the joy of bringing financial success and lifestyle happiness to her clients is utmost rewarding and inspiring.

Meet my Transaction Coordinator, Sophia Garcia! 

Here is a little bit about Sophia: 

My passion for Interior Design and DIY coupled with my servant leader heart and work ethic made Real Estate the perfect fit for me! I truly enjoy the problem-solving, organization, and client relationship-building aspect of Transaction Coordinating. No two transactions are alike and for me that brings a level of excitement and challenge to the daily grind. My journey into this profession was discovered after retiring from the Department of Defense and wanting to spend more time with my family while juggling a flexible career. I am blessed and thankful to have found such a rewarding career path through Transaction Coordinating.

When I’m not working you can find me spending quality time with my husband and kids, most likely at a baseball game or out camping. Go Padres! Family time is without a doubt our favorite time! As a self-proclaimed Coffee (and donut) connoisseur, when traveling I love to try out and support the local coffee shops.
